Question: When i first signed up i got to use all the features and now it tells me i dont have access, what happened and why the change in my account?
Answer: When you first signed up we may have in fact been running a free use introduction during that time, it can range from 1 day to 30 days free premium access, and anywhere in between. So if that should happen and you no longer can access the features that is quite easy to fix, simple upgrade your account to a premium member status.

Question: Why dont you offer a free trial period for premium?
Answer: From time to time we do indeed offer a free premium trial and you can write us to ask us about that offer, but we also have different offers at different times such as our free 1 year premium service. All you had to do was enter GWS12 under the coupon code when you registered and you would have gotten 1 year of premium for free. If you did not take part in that and you already have registered then please write us to find out if we are still offering that coupon.

Question: I used to have an account with you but i cannot sign in anymore, why?
Answer: If you have not signed into your account in more than 60 days chances are your account has been removed per Terms Of Service (TOS). You will need to re-register. If you have signed into your account within 60 days then your account may still be active and you may just have forgotten your login information.

Question: I dont know how to use the toolbar can you help me understand it?
Answer: Yes see our tool bar helper window. When it comes up just LEFT click your mouse (or the + sign in some cases) to make it larger and readable, we have displayed our toolbar across the page and then put descriptions for you. Please Click ToolBar Helper Or you an also watch our toolbar videos postd on this page or on our forum.

Question: Where do i get the Goldwingsingles toolbar?

Question: Why am i not getting the Instant Messenger Window when someone invites me to use the Video Messenger?
Answer: Please make sure you have your popup blocker turned off because it will block that window from opening for you.

Question: what youtube code do i use for video upload, the url or the embed code?
Answer: Always use the Embed code when uploading a video on our site, your video will not play otherwize. Once approved by admin your ready to go.

Question: I uploaded several pics to my gallery, why do i not see all of them.
Answer: Many times if you upload more than a few pics in your gallery you have to click on the pic to go to the next pic, as you run your mouse over the pic you can see that the mouse pointer will change and that means that you need to click on that pic to see the others.

Question: It wont allow me to edit my profile?
Answer: You cannot edit anything in view mode, you must click on my account then choose the edit that you want.

Question: Why at times are there so many test profiles?
Answer: It has to do with our continued complete testing of the system and its functionality, we regularly create profiles then delete them in our testing phase, especially when new modules are added.

Question: Why do words like can't and don't in my description section display as don//'t and can//'t ?
Answer: It is because of our scripting language, and it is a security feature as well, we ask that you please instead use them as, do not, dont, or can not, cant.

Question: How do i find my home page view, im looking for the admin posting area thats on my home page view?
Answer: There are two views of your profile, the first one is the main view (or home view) view this by pressing the home tab along the middle portion of your screen with the other tabs, or from this help page click the word home at the top left of this page.

The second view is the simple profile view and you get to this by clicking on the view profile button once you have arrived at your home page screen.
We have moved the admin posting area to the information tab but it is a limited version now. The information you need is probably on our forum now.

Question: Why dont females always get a free Premium account no matter what, like alot of sites out there?
Answer: Because we feel that many of those sites that allow that sort of thing are the same sites that have tons of fake female profiles, and we dont feel that our members care to waist their time with fake profiles. Many companies do that sort of thing as a way to increase the number of female members, many dont care if they are real members or not, they just want the numbers. Asking them to pay just like everyone else for premium memberships assures us and our other members that they are real and they are sincere about their membership and are sincere about their intentions. This also helps protect you as a member.

Question: Why do you only process your payments using Paypal.
Answer: Very simply, your security! We do this because as a private merchant we do not need or want to store your payment information and Paypal offers the security and peace of mind that we wanted to pass along to our members.

Member Only Playlist Contest Rules!
**NOTE** this contest is not currently running we will post a message when we bring it back, thanks Admin. The contest is designed to last aprox 4 weeks depending on member involvement, it may be extended depending on member participation. The contest involves members submitting a playlist of between 20-30 songs and artists. the playlist can be a link to their playlist or they may create one on playlist.com, or an email containing the information both song and artist to goldwingsingles@Goldwingsingles.com For security purposes regardless of the format submitted by member we will put those artists and songs on a secure playlist and post the member screen name and their playlist one playlist at a time for serveral days to a week. Other members will vote in a poll how well they like the playlist. If member is not familar with a playlist they can click on the goldwingsingles playlist on the home page of the website, the playlist is indicated by the large music note, just click and listen, it will open on a new page so that it will not interrupt what your doing, you can even minimize the playlist and even close the website completely and continue to listen as you do other things.. There are many places to make a playlist but we use playlist.com, you may choose any playlist website you choose. After the contest is over the winner be will determined by member popular vote and the will receive a nice gift from Goldwingsingles.com and the results will be posted on the font page of the website along with an extend play of their playlist.
