Public Chat and Forum 31-10-2009 We have just added a new public chat system allowing all of you to access public rooms. People from all over the world hang out in public rooms and its a great way to meet fresh faces and even better there is always someone online to chat or on cam whether its 9am in the morning or 3 am. There are so many positives about having a public chat room but just as anything else just use caution, we do not monitor the public chat as it is an outside entity. They do have moderators for the rooms but they are not associated with GWS. I have met some very nice folks in there in the room and on cam. We have kept our private internal chat also to give you all a choice. We have also added our GWS Forum where you can ask for help using the site, talk about sports, being single, being married, bikes, goldwings, wonderful rides, hobbies, its all there. You must sign up separately for the forum. We recommend using your same screen name as GWS but a different PW. So now with the addition of the Forum and the public chat we invite you to come hang out and there is someone always online... Peace and Thanks. Dave |

New Features 21-08-2009 We are now on Facebook and Twitter under Goldwingsingles (Durangodaves). You can now use Facebook and Twitter directly from your user profile page or the toolbar. We also installed a separate chat room on the tool bar where you can venture to other topic rooms as well. To see them all on the toolbar use the shrink toolbar option menu found next to our orange logo(the little down arrow), That should shrink your toolbar so that you can see the new options. If not then on the far right end of your tool bar you can click on the double arrow looks like this >> and it will open the drop down menu.. Thanks, Dave We will be adding new items regularly and we will also be connected to other Goldwing clubs and fans in both Twitter and Facebook. Twitter 19-08-2009 You can now Follow us on Twitter!, please see your profile page, plus we added an extra feed. We can change the feed to what suits you all best, motorcycles, dating , whichever topic you would like to see. For your convenience I tried installing the interactive version of twitter so that you could sign on in the box itself but twitter is having a major signon issue with that feature and they are aware of it, they have been working on the fix since June so dont hold your breath on that one folks. |
